when we give our hamu new food, she methodically goes through the food dish and stuffs her cheeks full of the pieces of food she doesn't like, deposits them in her toilet corner and promptly urinates on them to display her displeasure.there's a lot to be said for simple animal logic/blatentness.^_^

our kitty scratches the floor as though covering the food with litter. and then she uses the litter box in a further display of cat simile.heh.
our kitties do that to anything they don't like in the house as well. it's so cute! a while back, the youngest kitty threw herself down on the floor and started rolling around on her back all silly like a kitten to a rousing applause of "cute!" and "kawaii" by eric and i, followed by a big kitty-petting session. it clicked in her little kitty head that this is a good scam for getting attention. now, whenever she sees us looking at her, she throws herself down and starts rolling around, obviously waiting to get showered with praise. if she doesn't get it, she throws herself down on our feet or our laps. it's supercute but it almost looks like she's having seizures with the frequency she does it now! ^_^

hey... i ordered you a book on your amazon wishlist but i still haven't received the confirmation email yet. then again, my email account has been really flakey over the past few days so it might have just gotten lost in the system...i'm going to check my account on the amazon site to see if it's sitting out there as being in process or something stupid and if not, i'll try again. i'm assuming you want ALL of the books on your wishlist but if i have to re-do it, is there one [or a few] in particular you want more than others? i just picked one that i found really interesting before, though i want almost all of the ones you picked as well. ^_^and, happy birthday!!!!!!
aw thankyou!!!i've just had a look and there are still 13 books there (not paying attention to which ones are still there so it's a surprise when i get it) whcih suggests it hasn't worked or is still in the system.I like all of the books so pick out one you find interesting so its more of a personal present than me just saying which is my favourite.again, thankyou!
she's such a cute little hamster! she's completely used to our voices now and lets us grab her and pick her up and everything. it's super cute!
maybe you should try that with some of the more "challenging" clients at work? dump their papers in a corner and pee on them? heeeeee....
see, i did it 2 days ago so i think it's safe to say something wrong happened along the way. i'll go check my amazon account now. i ordered some books for myself yesterday and that email showed up... weirdness.
my old beloved hamster, roi, used to do that. he hates those little compressed pellets and would pee on them :)

she pees on the vegetable puffs. she hates dried veggies. she also won't eat "treats" and she refuses to chew on those wood chew sticks. we've tried giving her them in every shape/color/size/flavor and she just uses them to build her nest with. [she chews on the metal wires or her cage- she has a big mulit-level metal wire cage.] silly hamu!

i would have been tempted too! but i have a cute pucca head purse thingie. [hard to explain but it's her head... as a purse.] there's a girl here who has the CUTEST backpack and it's a little bat with it's wing outstretched. it's from the WWF [wildlife fund, not the 'rassling people!] i WANT it so bad! but she got it in sweden. >_<maybe online... ebay is good for pucca stuffs!!!!
